How to take the perfect #SELFIE

We are all about #SelfieReadyBeauty so we had to share our tips on how to achieve the perfect selfie.
1) Get the angle right. Don’t have a Selfie stick? Tilt your phone 45 degrees at arm’s length, positioned just above your eyeline, is the most forgiving (no double chins, no dodgy shadows).
2) Next, find a flattering light source. Windows, a softly-backlit wall or the flash of your smartphone reflected in a bathroom mirror tend work best.
3) Frame the shot. Not too close as to see all your imperfections in the lens; not so far as to look like a regular photograph.
4) The all-important pose. Smile, pout, perfectly muss up your hair for a ‘I woke up like this’ look. Make it fun, sassy, most of all, BEAUTY.FULL!
5) Ready, set, SHOOT! Take a few and choose your fave. Mayfair or Sierra give a warm bronzed finish, for that no-makeup look. Rise or Perpetua are great for enhancing makeup, blurring imperfections and giving a flawless finish. Or Willow and Inkwell for a black and white finish, flattering every time.
6) Retouch using the tools tab for full control of brightness, highlights and shadows. Every Selfie Queen’s secret weapon.
7) Put it on Facebook for the maximum number of shares. Forty-eight per cent of the most-shared selfies are posted on Facebook, followed by 27 per cent of those on Whatsapp. Twitter only has a nine per cent share rate. Sharing is by far the most important step - after all, what's the point of all that effort if nobody's going to see your selfie?
